On Sound Alchemy
I really thank God for how all of us got together and formed Sound Alchemy. Right from the start, I had the desire for our band to compose original songs. This is because I feel that is the very basic thing a band should have. And I am really grateful that we have so many talented people in our band. Paul is really a very good composer and arranger of songs. And of course the other members - Ada, Adrian and Tian You are talented in their own ways.

Our music
Basically, I think our first album has quite a few guitar-driven songs and our music definitely has our own style. I can say that our music are quite Rock, which is something that I personally like. In my own opinion, especially in the current Chinese scene, there are a lot of sappy, slow Chinese songs in the market. While I agree that some are very nice, I personally think tat there are too much of such music around, and there is lack of variation in the music that is currently in the Chinese music industry. It is like the moment you tune in to the radio, you would definitely hear some slow, sentimental songs by some boybands of the month. Despite the dominance of the mainstream, sentimental type of music, I firmly believe that there will be people out there who will appreciate our music....
