On Sound Alchemy
Why is our band named 'Sound Alchemy'?
Definition of 'Alchemy' - A medieval chemical philosophy having as its asserted aims the transmutation of base metals into gold, the discovery of the panacea, and the preparation of the elixir of longevity. In simple terms, we see our music or rather, each individual musical instrument as an individual metal...and together as a band, we combine to transform our 'sound' into 'gold'. We hope that through the blending together of our individuality, the music that we create as band will be appreciated by other.

Sound Alchemy holds a very special place in my heart. To me, it was fate that brought us together (thru internet, mind you...) and I'm sure we will be together for a long, long time...

Our Music
We write songs to express ourselves and we don’t care how people see us.... We want our music to be different from those in the market and I believe there are people out there who's gonna appreciate our style of music...
Our Debut Album [Time] was definitely a great learning process for each and every member, and we matured through the entire process. No doubt that there were concerns such as our financial status, our time, our technical skills, etc, and the end product is probably reflective of where we were when we started recording. However I hope everyone will appreciate our effort and are able to feel our passion for what we do, because the end product, flawed as it may be, is an immense achievement for us.
